The rooms, tastefully decorated, feature balconies that boast breathtaking lake views – a truly picturesque backdrop for our stay. Although the property doesn’t have air conditioning, we found the cooler night climate pleasant, allowing us to fully appreciate the fresh air and tranquil surroundings. The on-site swimming pool was a highlight, providing an idyllic spot to unwind while taking in the spectacular scenery. As a history teacher, I also value the local context, and D Khaylas' proximity to natural attractions like Mount Batur and the nearby hot springs adds an educational layer to the experience. The welcoming nature of the staff, coupled with a delightful à la carte breakfast, made our stay feel like home, allowing us to relax and reconnect with one another away from our busy routines.
